Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Waitwhat! You were there in a get-the-heck-out-of-the-way position? Yep...that is a ninja-photographer move, if ever I heard of one! But you got a great shot from it! Also, if you were where I think you were, then Robert Capa would be proud, though. It's all about the shot you know! And what a shot! You do these really well!

Look auntie, no hands. Sorry, Maz, I would have added exclamation marks to that, but my keyboard has gone south on me in that regard. Ergo, a new keyboard is on my wish list. In any event, a cool capture of the trio, bearing down on you as you make a quick exit for safer ground.

Very nice. Considering the circumstances the clarity is exceptional.
