Description
A happy crew here, with drink in hand, captured 4/27/14, at the beautiful Renaissance Faire, held at the beautiful Santa Fe Dam Recreation Area, in semi beautiful Irwindale, California.
Well, if Andrea can post her Michael, Clive and Trevor man-on-the-street portraits, I presume I can do the same with this smiling bunch, pink hair or not. And, stunningly, I didn't get one refusal when requesting a photo of someone throughout the entire Faire. In contrast, I would have been arrested for harassment and invasion of privacy if I tried this same thing back home in Paranoia City.
A ZOOM on this would be beyond cool.
Ciao, baby.

These are two excellent shots of these pretty ladies. I like their smiles and their interesting drinking vessels. It's really great when people voluntarily posing so nicely for the camera.

They are a group of pretty young women; it's great that people were kind enough to let you take their portraits, Harry; I guess folks that get dressed up and go out to a faire are there because they want to be seen. The pink hair is interesting, probably wouldn't work if she wasn't so young and cute...great addition to your faire series, excellent shots all!

Beautiful portraits once more, beautiful smiles, and you drew out the magic once again. The top one is delightful; and the bottom one---closing in on 2 of the 4 women---is equally warm in spirit. Your smiling portraits in this series have no sense of artifice or purposeful posing; just natural smiles and delight that you're photographing them. Very well done on your part. I also like that there's a mix of period and modern costume here; and some very full-bodied gleaming faces. Also, in 1, you've lined up the left-most woman with the sheets behind her, and the right-most with the top of the fence behind her. Both shots are easefully composed. Another delightful portrait in this series, and the closeups are as natural as can be. Harry it's a bit over an hour now, and I'll have to stop, but I think I did 7, and I'll be back to catch up more, soon. But as always, it's a pleasure. This series just doesn't wane, you keep on getting gems out of it. These smiles are as natural as can be...pure delight...
