Description

Special Notes: I've listened to everyone's advice on the stalled chapter 26 and will be taking a tid-bit from everyone. I have the solution and am working on it now. Auntik's advice on timing was spot on... and Windigo was absolutely right about the Ocean God's character be completely off... and I love the dream sequence idea, but not going to be exactly as suggested, have something else in mind, but brilliant suggestion. Excerpt: "Uncle Black," Jon looked up from the toy rocket ship he was playing with. "Yes, Jon," said Fox. "I want to be a Flare Pilot when I grow up," announced Jon. Fox looked up from the alien device he was studying. "Flare Pilot?" asked Fox. "Where did you hear about Flare Pilots?" Jon shrugged and Fox sat back in his chair and studied the boy. Perhaps he had found a Vid Movie, but Fox didn't know of any rooms with a Vid Viewer in them. Fox didn't know what to make of this, Flare Pilots was the nickname of the very first Carinian rocket test pilots nearly five thousand years ago.

Glad to be of service, my friend! :) I like this scene ... it has a nice vibe. Fox is fully involved, but casual, as if he has nothing better to do than watch his child play. And ... of course ... he doesn't!
