After all the exertion of moving the contents from the plantation's attic, Skylar and Reed spend another night in Baton Rouge. The next morning, they leave early and drive down to New Orleans to see the sites. It doesn't look like they will enjoy it very much. There is intermittent rain forcast for the day. The guys find a secure looking parking lot and leave Eleanor there. It is near a bus tour site. They buy tickets and take the 'official tour' of the city. That is one way to get a lot of sight seeing crammed into a little time and not have to fight the traffic. The guys enjoy the sights even though Reed has a tendancy to stay out in the rain a little too much from time-to-time when the tour bus stops to let the tourist have an explore break. The bus shows them a lot more of the city than they would have been able to find on their own and they are glad they took the tour. After getting back to the parking lot, they spot a little cafe nearby. So, they stop in for a bite before they get back on the road. It is a fine little eatery specialzing in (of course) French cuisine! The food is excellent and the prices aren't too bad either. They have a most enjoyable meal and after letting it settle for a little while by walking around the block a few times, they retrieve Eleanor and head out onto the highway once more. ------------- M4 and LoRez characters.
