Description
The Old Norse sagas tell of Ragnarok, a time when the Frost Giants will leave their place in the Underworld, and cross the Rainbow Bridge into Asgard where the final battle between good and evil will take place. Valhalla will fall, Gods will die and the earth will be destroyed in a great flood.
After our visit to the volcanos we had stopped some miles down the road to see our first waterfall. After a hike over frozen sea grass we arrived to find it frozen. With a cold wind blowing across a landscape covered in ice and snow it was easy to imagine that Frost Giants were real. I could feel their presence.
Some fiddling to bring out the details.

Mr. Frost Giant is perfectly placed and far away from where my journey will lead me to ... no sweat ! ;P but I would miss out on a fabulous viewing and fine photography, like yours here Mark, ah well, one can't have it all, and you did it for us anyway ;)) - it looks so rich in texture and design, BB (It's 'Ciao' from me for now, leaving tomorrow morning! - until my return in September) Say, your comment on my last post, was rather cute - like a serenade ... was it a famous song ? or a poem ? or one of your a creations ?

"See You in September" was a song by the Tempos recorded in 1959. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QRGLjzFHa40&feature=kp
