Description

After IKE shot. These are wonderful little birds. After the first two days after IKE, these birds were used to me being on the porch with that big weird thing. I think the ones with the white bar across the tail fan are mature hens. This seems to be a juvenile, don't know the gender. I have shots of juvenile birds and grown hens. None of the mature ruby bibbed male. Seems there were three 'clans' that made the rounds morning and evening. I had the light in the morning back there. The cocks were always around, usually fed first and stood watch while their clan fed. They did this in each area in their circuit. Amazing little birds!
