Description
I started a series nearly seven years ago on "Light and Glass." I don't know exactly how many I've done ... more than 75, certainly, probably fewer than 100. When I started, I had six images I thought would make a nice little series, and then I planned to move on.
Who knew?
It's a compelling subject, and I'll probably never be done with it.
These glass vessels were on an iron table at Mira's house when we were there a few weeks ago.

I love the colors! I love the shapes. There's a fluid-ness to these: oh, and I know how it is to think you're gonna do a quick skirmish thing and a zillion entries later, you're doing more of that short term thing. But look at the result: this is brilliant and quite evocative! Stuff for patios is always surprisingly photographb-able. You did a gorgeous job here.

Amazing, what superb light, which gives so much justice to the colors and glass. I guess there is no kind of photography, you couldn't create a 'WOW-photo of, Tara.

Very beautiful light and color. Since I don't own a smartphone, I always assumed that their images would be less than stellar, but I have to admit, that the quality of this shot is very good!

Great subject, but surely best shot at night, and lit? I have a set of these; you have got me thinking - low angle, wide, at night, candle, colour, stars. Hmm, how to expose for the sky??? Thanks!!
