My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Those are very cool candle holders. I bet the light from them is fantastic

I love the colors! I love the shapes. There's a fluid-ness to these: oh, and I know how it is to think you're gonna do a quick skirmish thing and a zillion entries later, you're doing more of that short term thing. But look at the result: this is brilliant and quite evocative! Stuff for patios is always surprisingly photographb-able. You did a gorgeous job here.

Amazing, what superb light, which gives so much justice to the colors and glass. I guess there is no kind of photography, you couldn't create a 'WOW-photo of, Tara.

Time to make an album, now RR has given us the chance. Scrumptious photography! ( you can tell I'm commenting before breakfast, mixed sensations.)

You inspired me to give the album thing another try. I'd looked at it before and couldn't figure it out. :P I now have an album for Light & Glass, and have more planned! :)

Very beautiful light and color. Since I don't own a smartphone, I always assumed that their images would be less than stellar, but I have to admit, that the quality of this shot is very good!

This is wonderful, Tara! Such lovely colors and wonderful lighting! I don't think you could ever run out of material with light and glass. I do have a bit of a fascination with glass..... You may have noticed.... LOL

Your way with glass and light and shadow just keeps getting more and more intimate and perfect...I love this!

This is mesmerizing, you kinda just start staring and don't want to stop, the colors pull you right in. Very cool.

Great subject, but surely best shot at night, and lit? I have a set of these; you have got me thinking - low angle, wide, at night, candle, colour, stars. Hmm, how to expose for the sky??? Thanks!!

Nice composition and lighting Tara!

Spectacular color, lighting & composition. I especially like the play of light on the swirling patterns of the metal platform...
