Description
It is a shame for the USA they still tolerate the use of landmines. Victims are innocent civilians.

I agree with your advert! But in my opinion ALL kind of weapons had to be forbidden! Since three quarter of century, more civilian people die or are injuried than soldiers! I shall remember all my life my travel in Germany when I have visited Dresden!
N8Dreams
Agreed, of course. But tell that Americans and the mad guys from the NRA.

Marvelous graphic work. You have sent a clear message. I am with you.

An impressive message.

The NRA has nothing to do with this. As for land mines, as long as North Korea has insane dictators, the U.S. will insist on keeping land mines in the DMZ. Banning guns and other weapons is not the solution (look at Uganda, many were killed with machetes and makeshift clubs) - the problem is human psychology.

The arguments of the NRA get not better by repeating. Its quite simple: no guns, no casualities.

Very great message !

Yes, a very worthwhile message. Why don't we see ambulance chaser-type lawyers sue manufacturers (past and present) of landmines on behalf of the injured I wonder?

Not to get into politics but land mines serve two purposes. The original purpose was to stop tanks and if USA just used that type and put them in areas of the DMZ inaccessible to civilians, plus clearing the damned things up when they no longer serve a purpose, they would get a lot more sympathy. But when human ingenuity gets working and the monkey fingers get to tinkering what we get is land mines that are designed NOT to kill. Ones that are designed to maim, with the intent of overstretching an opponents resources by filling the hospitals with casualties. And then some asshole gets a medal for suggesting that these should just be scattered everywhere in civilian population zones. And of course, they are not going to get cleared up afterwards. They remain there for decades with innocent people especially kids triggering them. Like most people I have tremendous respect for those who wear a uniform but none at all for those who cynically abuse their patriotism.

I think every piece of art has to carry a (poltical) message. Otherwise, it is quite useless.

Land mines and all the other high killing capacity weapons,( chemical weapons especially!)all of them is a big problem!Bu maybe land mines has a much more important place between them because mostly of time they can forget the place where they were buried! This situations caused a big civilian casualties after the wars! But frankly,All of us knows well,All the advanced countries produce horribly strong weapons in this world!and also most of them owe their wealth to high- tech weapon production and sales!I think human species are must be improve, mentally and spiritually! we're still live like simple savage creatures! In my opinion; all the luxury and fancy technologies that we have is just a useless screensavers for now!! :-)) As for the NRA,well,This Association it's more about personal armament than military weapons!but It seems uncontrollable personal armaments results is going to an unwanted/unacceptable level in US!!And of course NRA's role can be questionable In this point!!But at last, this is an important responsibility of American society! because, this incidents primarily concerns them first! We can just write our opinions/thoughts,wishes&hopes....good&friendly wishes and hopes for them and for every other nation and race which that lives in this world!:-) thank you for your sensitivity and pay attention to this important matter my friend!.....
