My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

WOW! The texture in those old doors, I sincerely hope you shot those head on?

Without him is my preference as this would have been excellent... but I do get what you mean with his presence in the image. Sometimes things work out after the fact (as they have for me some cases) :)

Yeah, he could have turned his head away, if he didnt want his picture taken :-)

He reminds me of one of Chip's photographic subjects, sticking his head into your shot. I think it works here. And those doors really are wonderful!
durleybeachbum
Mega geek! I rather like it.

The green tones in the wood compliment his tee shirt.

The hinges on the doors draw my attention. Though simple, there is a utilitarian beauty of design there, you don't see such things in modern workmanship.

He doesn't look bored to me. This guy is either a wanted fugitive who is unhappy about having his picture taken or works for the CIA & thinks you've just blown his cover...

He is rather heavy-lidded. Great shot of the wall!

I think he was hoping you weren't going to blow his cover.... He's actually Edward Snowden, in disguise you know..... :-P That patina on the doors is actually quite lovely. A fun shot, Tara!

You know, he does look a bit like Snowden! Hmmm ...

Probably wondering why you aren't pointing the camera directly at him. Such worn and colorful doors and wall. Makes me wonder what's inside.
