My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

Darn mighty fine bit O' Street photography auntie.

This is such an intersting picture, Tara, and you could write a short story just using these characters . Did Bill get a photo of you in your subtle outfit, I wonder?

Great scene. I agree with Ron.

I love those few places left that allow the enterprising entrepreneur to present the fruits of creativity. I used to do sidewalk art until the police tried to arrest me. Sigh. Art, a shunned trade... now art is a poster from Walmart with some dogs playing poker.

In addition to the three people who spotted you, I think the guy in the painting on the right (with the hat) had his eye on you too...

Excellent work, and I believe you accomplished your objective with your PW. :)

I can just hear the guy on the bench saying to his wife, "Martha, look at the lady with the big "TOURIST PHOTOGRAPHER" sign floating over her head..." LOL! I really enjoy photos like this... They make me want to add speech bubbles and my own interpretations of the conversations. The two guys having a conversation in the background are priceless... Wonderful capture, Tara!

The woman in the lower right looks a little bemused. In addition to the man in the blue hat there is also the trio at top just right of center. Looks like you drew a lot of attention.

How great that you got to go there! Jackson Square is such a great place and all of the French Quarter is the perfect place for people watching! We loved it there and hope you did, too. Nice shot here. :)
