"We're just playin'!"
This one almost brought my system to its knees with the almost 5 million hairs. 32GB RAM and Windows barely had enough to keep running. Almost broke down and sent it out to RebusFarm for rendering on their render farm, but used SolidRocks to optimize the render settings (thank to LuXxeon for turning me onto this software). Also, a big thanks to LuXxeon for making the scriptspot request for the spline vertex selection script as this worked wonders on getting the proper vertex selections along all the guide splines for the outfit pieces.

Incredible sci-fi pin-up! Lighting and textures are superb. I have 16 gigs of ram so I won't be trying anything quite so ambitious as this anytime soon (LOL).

Great fun scene! Nice of you to include the technical details, I checked out a video on SolidRocks and it looks interesting. I'm not using VRay right now but maybe someday a SolidRocks for Mental Ray will come out.

I do have to say that, if it were not for SolidRocks, I would never have been able to render this one without sending it out to Rebus Farm. It really makes a dfference.
