Tyria jacobaeae on grass flowers. This particular moth looks a little the worse for wear.

You do have the luck. First the children and now the adult. The larvae have been known to turn cannibalistic so perhaps they took a chunk out of mom? You've captured this one in all its bedraggled glory. Great work.

There it is! If I'd just looked a little farther in your gallery after seeing the picture of the caterpillars, I would have discovered that this moth comes from them (and I wouldn't have had to go bouncing off to Wikipedia, which yielded the same result but cost me more time. ;-) Anyway, your photos have provided me with a day in which I have learned something, which is always the preferable kind of day. :-D Thanks for posting!
