Description

ENCYCLOPEDIA GALACTICA Edition 428193 - Earth English Definition: 'Bare Singularity'   A disputed Language English1 expression representing the foriscientific2 phenomena of a black hole's gravitational field dispersed to the point that its event horizon becomes discontinuous or collapsed.3 These objects are purportedly created through the expulsion of 'bubble gravity' from the singularity's gravity well - 'sic aiunt'.4 Every ejected bubble partially depletes the central well's field strength until escape velocity falls below the speed of light in some but not all directions. Along these vectors, energy from the singularity may egress to the outside universe making it 'bare' and observable. This phenomena is not to be confused with naked singularity.5 'Bubble gravity' is a spheroid membrane of gravitational force - warped space-time - dislodged from its central gravity well - 'sic aiunt'. Unless a black hole is devoid of angular momentum; the space-time it occupies becomes distorted and turbulent. As with turbulent water flow, space-time under such stress generates tiny6 bubble-like distortions which can dislodge from the main body like spray. As space-time itself is not confined to the limit of the speed of light, gravity bubbles can pass back across the event horizon and settle into orbit around the singularity. Some bubbles have even been documented drifting free of the gravity well which spawned them. Gravity bubbles have been known to disperse as much as thirty-one (31) percent of a body's gravitational force - though there is no theoretical reason why all gravity could not be dispersed in this manner. The mass of the gravity well is unaffected.7 'Bare singularities' are also characterized by the presence of numerous naturally occurring Krivenko-Theroux fields.8 Where the event horizon is absent, dramatic distortions of space-time are still observed. Within some of these distortions the region becomes dilated to earlier events along one or more temporal dimensions. Colloquially, these regions 'lag behind' present events within neighbouring space. The faster the rotation of the central mass, the greater the dialation. This phenomena can potentially generate observable event echoes. Though the models put forward by Krivenko and Theroux suggest that event loops will also occur.9 Foriscientific theories assert that event loops (both naturally occurring and artificial) partially underpin the craft of 'tooling' as practiced by Red civilizations.10 As acknowledged above, the expression 'bare singularity' is not universally accepted. A singularity should only exist along ingress vectors where the event horizon is present. Otherwise the body is more characteristic of a neutron star.11 'Bare singularities' are reported to have measurable diameters along vectors which permit energy egress. Nevertheless a singularity - some experts suggest several small overlapping singularities - does make up part of the central structure of this phenomena. I have been wanting to comment on this for a while, but between internet issues and the usual (work), I haven't gotten here until now. I am home from work with Novocaine wearing off and my jaw saying, "Hey, what did you do to me!?" Three hours in a dentist chair and an afternoon off . . . not a bad trade-off. As I read I wished, as always, that I could delve into the Encyclopedia Galatica (Edition 428193 - Earth English). I do love that you have your Encyclopedia Galactica uploads in albums now. I just went on a refresher course on 'tooling'. It helped but I still need to get into the encyclopedia to learn more about event echoes and loops. Are you inside an echo, and able to effect changes or is it more like looking into the past. If you make changes in a loop, do they survive when you go back to the beginning. The Red Civilizations use them in tooling. Do they use them only to gather information or also to step in and make changes. Perhaps their greater knowledge is in knowing how to create and control artificial ones. I would think the natural ones would be difficult to manage as well as not at the right place in space and time. It would be so fascinating to look into the past. Preferably with at least enough distance to avoid any beasties whether microscopic, gigantic, or human. If a bubble drifts free of its gravity well, what does it do to anything it encounters? Wonderful writing and gorgeous image! I love the layers and the sense of turbulence beneath the surface. Beautiful details, light and colors!

Very nicely described. A nightmare for general relativity theory. One can only wonder at the implications (and potential use of), the given existence of such a phenomena. Excellent work!

A fantastic image and a mind-bending concept. I seem to remember reading somewhere that Naked Singularities were impossible. Can't wait for the next installment of the Encyclopaedia Galactica!
