Description

OK updates... New legs and arms (more polygons..surprise, surprise LOL) mandibles now gold as were too dark, abdomen size increased to give more balance to model. Still a way to go....wings and casings...weapons..etc to be made. Modeled by myself in Bryce 4 using boleans and primitives. Answering a question...Is Bryce 4 more stable for modeling than other versions? ....Yes. Bryce 4 and 5.5 are the only versions that can handle hig poly bolean counts, i cannot open any of my models in 6 or 7 (i have the pro versions of each) they crash when i try. From my Brother Dave Robinson aka bambam131 who was a tester for the later versions he noted they were not suitable for modeling (yes Bryce was never meant for modeling) along with other complaints about them...i will stick to the old and way more stable 4 thank you :) Click image for larger shot. Keeps gettin' better! Legs look much more substantial now. As for weapons. . . I think I might start with a mini-gun on each forelimb. You always seem to make good choices so no matter what, it will be awesome.
