Description
Nycticorax caledonicus in the scrub. Even with my longest lens, this is the closest I could get. There was water between me and them! Best zoooomed. There are four (that I know of) in this frame.

Black-capped Night Heron in our corner of the world. I have only seen one out in the daylight - nice catch!
