Greetings Legends Fans! You knew I would lol Here she is, my Fave aircraft.. The English Electric F6 Lightning.. A Man sitting on two rockets! Having had the joy of seeing the RAF display their aircraft in its last year, I know what it was capable of.. And sound like (more important!). A crackle not a roar.. This collage is partly a new shot (top) and a re-post (bottom).. It was taken at Bruntingthorpe, where two of these are running.. I have as requested found a shot of the Wildcat and the Thunderflash, so watch out! They will appear.. Attended The British Aston Martin Car Meet at Burghley House today, Aston heaven! RARE! Like lots! Also, oddly, I've been told I have been nominated for Artist of the month!!! So, vote now if you want lol (No idea why I've been so...) Still, enjoy, more legends to come, loads prepared now! Loads of goodies! Rob

Hey, that's a pretty cool photograph of a plane I've never seen before. I mean, I never seen anything like it--the engines mounted one on top of the other! That's pretty cool. It looks a like a beast! My favorite plane is the F4 Phantom II--another beast of a plane. Thanks for sharing.

Wow, what a brute….that is one awesome MF of an aircraft, mate, made even spectacular with the addition of ground crew for a size relation. It looks as large as a B-17. And I love the conical nose and tail exhausts.
