Description

Well, Bertolli is hanging in there very nicely thank you. His meds are doing a fine job and we are back to what passes for normal. The earlier image of him in a plastic wrapper was not staged. These things happen and he really was trying to get away from the feeding. Now he is eating normally and if you watched a bit of the URL from the earlier image, you saw how delightfully cute the little bugger can be... pure saccharine. No more. It may appear that he is sleeping on my are. No, he just finished eating and instead of grooming nicely, he decided that it was time for "Kissee kissee chomp!" His eyes are closed in pure delight as he contemplates the fact that he has "fooled me again" and grabbed my arm. No, he's not really biting hard. Just hanging on. It's a game. The thing with ferrets is: the stupider the game; the more fun THEY are having. Enjoy; thanks for viewing. Hmmm. I considered the "violence" category, but you can't see his teeth....

Nice photo. Yes, I can see the lower jaw around your arm. Reminds me of Kitty (my cat). She can be snuggle-snuggle and then suddenly tooth and claw. But she never bites hard (draw blood) or scratches hard (only grabs). She loves to sniff my feet, then "kill" them. All a game to her (but Ouch! to me). Apparently ferrets are a bit bitey. I was considering one 3 years ago, but couldn't afford it. A colleague advised against it, having a friend who had to ferret-proof her home. It was SO lively and climbing all over. But, aw, so cute! Thanks for sharing! :-)
