Description

A Small Tortoiseshell on the move. I am SO pleased with this photo! I love the way the legs are sharp, and I needed a pic for the subject 'movement'.

I love this! At first I thought it was wing flutter, which I love, then I saw that it was landing or leaving the flower! Wonderful catch, Andrea! Instant fave!!

We've all known that for years. Oh, you mean the butterfly. I can't remember ever seeing a butterfly take off or land unless it was on film. This is truly unique and something that would be the envy of every professional nature photographer. You are right to be pleased. An absolute stunner.
