Description

Thought I better post something so you knew I'd survived the home-made cheese :) A young long-tailed tit in the garden today. Not quite got all of its fluffy feathers yet. The reason you can see its wing separated is that it was just about to have a good scratch under its armpit. Thanks for looking, as always. ~Steve~

Wow, this is so excellent. He looks a bit soaked. Is he or is that just the way young feathers are. I love all the complex and delicate wedge shapes. Great focal depth, he really pops in this pic.
