Description

I'm so proud of "Junior" - he's coming along nicely, flying from tree to tree to tree. I lost my focus a bit as he passed by my neighbor's flagpole, but it's the first in flight shot I have gotten of him. Mom and Dad Mississippi Kite are still feeding him as he hasn't learned to hunt yet. Thanks very much for your recent views, comments and faves. I appreciate it.

Not too bad a shot of Junior, slowly building up his confidence as he soars from tree limb to tree limb, Maria. Too bad you can't communicate with him. He could give you the high sign for you to snap his picture when he goes for his next hop.
