Description

The Stour at Iford Meadows, one of Bournemouth's nature reserves. If one has to live in a park home, there must be much worse places than this! See a happy fisherman who was on the opposite bank Here

Quite a cheery plant, doesn't live up to it's name for sure ! Keep an eye out the mysterious Blondeblurr, about to bug you any minute with tales from afar ! LOL ~Cheers~

Despite it's foul scent and invasive behaviour, I am rather fond of Ragwort. I think it goes back to child hood, with the urban legend that if one touched them it would cause bed wetting. I of course firmly believed in this as did many other small children, so they were never touched. Now as an adult, I as mentioned earlier have a fondness for them, and they make an excellent close-up subject too.

Lovely shot, the river Stour has been a first class course fishing river for so many years, as a kid I remember it well, looks like the fellow in that other shot has had a successful day as the keep-nets are out.. two no less.. maybe one has a few bottles of the best in it keeping them cold. You have captured the beauty of the river at summer.

Beautiful shot. I like the yellow flowers in the foreground, it's like you can discover a world just turning around of a bush :-)

Does the 'happy' fisherman on the other bank qualify as a 'random man'? :>) It is a lovely area Andrea and a very tranquil feeling from your capture!
