Description

A tachnid fly, probably Tachina fera, on the Ammi in my garden. What a stunner!

Wonderful shot. I spent the day in a new ecological park today, what a wonderful place, but I rather stupidly forgot to take a macro lens, and the red darter I missed last week, well all I can say is that that place made up for that today, they were settling on posts and fences, as well as on the purple loostrife. A wonderful place with a circling board walk and hides for the water foul.
