Description
I was sitting around last winter with some friends, with my camera in my hand. There was my foot with the golden boot, just waiting to be photographed. It's not really gold, it's brown, but the light gave it that glow.

Beautiful golden effects in this poignant photo of your snazzy shoe, Marilyn, a far cry from your signature flip-flops. Actually looks like it was bronzed as a keep sake. Incidentally, I have on flip-flops at the moment, but only wear them indoors.

Amazing how leather can take on so many hues, esp if the leather has a sheen to it. (I have a bag by Campomaggi that's made of washed and burnished leather, which looks almost like crinkled glass, it has such a wonderful dark shine to it. I'll show you a pic, or maybe even upload it...) The boot has reds in it too. And I'm trying to figure out the toe: It looks like it's got leather "tassels" of some kind. Either that or some creatures have taken up residence on your boot and are making their way up to the ankle, lol. A really cool shot, and with all that black around it, it's almost a silhouette. (Those are heavy duty heels! I understand Tara's response of not wanting to walk in those. Not that a lot of men's shoes have heels, but if I put this on, I'd feel I were walking on stilts, lol.) Another shot from out of nowhere that you make feel totally natural and right. Great lighting, great concept.
