My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

What an impressive and gorgeous shot! 17 years and counting! How cool is that?! Such an elegant photo and I love the whole happy vibe this has. I just love the in-love-glow; it's always there, it never goes away, it makes life so livable and livable life shimmers through this whole picture!

Congratulations to them. Amidst all the discouraging political news, at least the majority of our country got this one right. How can anyone see the affirmation of a loving relationship as anything but a positive thing?

A beautiful and sensitive portrait, Tara, and without the trappings of professional stylizing (common in wedding-couple photographs)...it's fresh, spontaneous and loving. Full beautiful color in both David's and Trent's faces, a gentleness in the light, a simple natural background (you photograph their home beautifully and always have, as far back as I remember), beautifully and simply placed in the frame (not to "portrait-y" but still a genuine portrait), and the two heads facing you but still leaned into each other. Simple and eloquent. Real Tara portraiture---it has the best of formal portraiture, but with the spontaneous freshness that you bring to your portraits. (You might say, portraiture with a healthy serving of street sensibility.) A beautiful celebration. I'm so glad you've posted pieces from this wonderful long-awaited wedding.
