Description
this is in Arizona. all the jets visible are to be scrapped . before on a flight to Vegas I was able to see hundreds of jets, but now there was only a few. all recycled
the prop planes visible are for forest fires and belong to the military there for maintenance

On the brighter side they are being recycled instead of just left to decay! Nice shot!

They've 're-tasked' quite a few aeroplanes over the years, I remember photos of row upon row of aircraft, stretching off to the horizon. Great capture....

cool distant shot, would be cool to pick some small things off them for collecting before they destroy.

Nice find and photo - a shame there isn't a market for them - worth more as scrap that resale I guess.. The yellow ones are DHL jets and I think that they downsized in the US a few years ago!

Awesome!

Great capture!

Nice shot of the airport and it is a real shame that the planes must be scrapped. There is a rumor that there are a bunch of WW2 planes around here that were buried instead of scrapped.
