Description
Captured 6/6/12, around noon, looking north, on the bike path of the San Gabriel River Greenway (I call it the San Gabriel River Flood Channel) in South Lakewood, California. I was walking my way to beautiful Rynerson Park to take pics of power towers. Notice the towers to the left.
I used to belong to a bicycle club similar to this.

Ah, the old cement creek; I used to live next to one of those, and when it rained it nearly overflowed (it actually did once after I moved away). Makes me wonder if someday that's all that will be left of our civilization, and other planets will wonder about us from our "canals"... great capture of this tamed waterway with bikers, Harry; I hope they didn't threaten to run you over!
