Description
Just experimenting with OBJ import into Terragen 3. There are no PNGs superimposed into this Terragen render - the two spacecraft and the background planet are all exported from DAZ Studio as OBJ files, then imported into Terragen for rendering (the background planet is simply a DAZ Studio "Primitive" - no texture added, only Diffuse color).
The only PW, other than text and some color/contrast enhancement, was to cover the entire picture with a black (bottom) to white (top) gradient layer, then blend it into the scene with a Soft Light setting (this was to lighten the tops of the spacecraft, because the Terragen sun was set low in the sky, thereby putting the tops in shadow). I probably could have accomplished the same thing with additional lighting in Terragen, but the gradient worked well enough.
The final piece was increased to it's present size using BenVista's PhotoZoom Pro 5 (as Terragen 3's free edition limits image size to 1280 x 900).
Thanks for visiting my gallery and for the many kind and constructive comments you've left on various of my posts.
Blessings,
~Robert
