SERIES: PORTRAITURE
Hello again, Renderosity friends. It's been some time (!) since I've posted anything to Rendo. This post would probably have been a year earlier, but a year ago I had an accident that left me with shattered ankles and a broken back. This past year has pretty much been taken up with trying to get back up to a point where I can do long walks and hikes and bicycling, as my wife and I like to do. There have been some setbacks now and then, but I'm getting there. I just thank God that I can still walk.
I can't say that my art skills have progressed much in the time between my last post and now, but I do still enjoy tinkering. :)
I hope everyone is well and happy. Thanks for taking time to visit my gallery.
Robert

Glad you're getting better. great image - I love how the wife is looking out as if seeing the future while the husband is looking at the camera with a weird smile

It's great to see you again,Robert, but I'm a bit chocked, reading about what happened to you, such a heavy year for you and Sheree. It sounds like a miracle that you now can go hiking and bicycling again. This is a lovely render, with those two, looking in such different directions, and both with an interesting smile, as look in their eyes. God bless, dear friend(s) ;-)

First, thanks for your fine comments in my gallery. I appreciate them very much. Second, I'm sorry to hear about this accident: I know it takes time to recover, and there are setbacks. I hope you're getting back to normal...if you and your wife are hikers, getting back your mobility is a must, I know. All the best with it! Last, I love the natural, unforced nature of these portraits. And the realism---they aren't 'modeling' for you, they're merely presenting themselves as people. (So to speak---I realize you created them.) I love the expression on the guy, and the fact that you included stubble on his face, and a mole, and the signs of shaving on his neck, etc. And he has real, not-model-like, eyes (and great expression). The woman is also very human, with freckles and a great gaze. And both their hair styles are done beautifully. Fine Daz portraiture. If I could do 3D like this, I'd be doing 3D. (My 3D puts 3D to shame...)
