Ah that famous yellow door, love it!...I too would have waited, I hate getting rained on, it's sometimes so cold that it shocks you.

Fantastic postwork by Mother Nature and there is no way I would have gotten out of the car after looking at the FlickR version.

I love your door! What colors. What a nice rain-distortion. I bet you there's nothing as nice in Holland Park! The sense of color here is brilliant! I love the shimmer and the sense that this is a layered image. I've been on this layering kick lately, and this strikes me as one of those sorts of images, because there's the image itself, and then there's a little something extra: it's a protean thing, slippery and impossible to define, and yet it's there. How marvelous! And what a scene. Too bad you were trapped for 10 minutes, but look what you got out of it. Marvelous! This is fantastic.

You are the only person I know who could take a near disaster and turn it into a successful art piece. Outstanding work.

I do love your yellow door! It's lovely seen through the layer of rain on your windows. Great use of your trapped time!

Great spontaneous shot, I had a moment like this last week, just a shirt on and a short distance but with the heavy rain it might just have been miles away.

A quick downpour can be refreshing and cleansing.I like the distorted view of the doorway.
