Description

First release of this year. My brother helped me do this. He posted several of his this morning. I was so busy opening doors and watching how they were doing to get many shots. This one was making sure that he knew what was around the area. He spent the first several minutes scoping out the area. This is a wild behavior that will help him survive. Then he went to play in the creek with the others. He was one of the ones that had started pacing in the cage. It does my heart good to see them where they belong. Wild and free.

"If I hide here, will Bev be able to see me?" Hide and go seek is popular with Kitty. She'll hide behind my attache case, or under the easy chair by the balcony door, or under the kitchen table, then make a run for it when she perceives I've discovered her. She racks up a lot of exercise! Good job with this photo. One can see the curiosity and intelligence in this little fellows face. For some reason I'm thinking of food. What do you feed them? And what do they eat in the wild? How big is the transition? And, I assume getting food is taught in raccoon school! Keep up the good work! :-)
