Description
This little guy is the male that lost the courting contest. He was very put out and sat fussing on this limb for some time. The winner is in the post "Colors Every Where" done July 17. I watched these guys for 3 days. The gentleman that ended up with the girl had much better manners. He spent hours finding a piece of corn and then would feed it to her. This guy did not put much effort into the courting. As you can see, he left alone. Sounds a lot like people. I guess there are some animals that have not learned either.

Well Mike, the longer I work with animals the more I see that they do not operate on just instinct. I gave come to see that feeling are involved more than humans know. We have been feed the line that animals only go on instinct by "Educated" people. Problem is that they never look deep enough to see the feelings and intelligance of animals. I have watched too many animals grieve , love, play and make decisions to believe they only act on instinct. As usual, thank you so much for being such a supporter.

My, he sure looks ticked off, and then you taking his photo in this state of being! Shucks, life's such a bummer! While the whole situation may seem comical to us, it's serious for him. You got him at the right moment, feathers ruffled and all. He really shows how he feels. Poor guy has got to learn. Hopefully, some day.... Yes, animal emotions. Seems stupid academics have never seen/heard a dog cry. I say stupid because they live in their ivory towers and insist on interpreting everything in thier narrow little way, and then are so arrogant as to feist their nonsense onto others (ie students who have to "learn" from these buffoons). And this rant from an academic! However, I've seen the inside of that world and the Political Correctness when it comes to academic orthodoxy. Just look at the global warming scam, or the evolutionists - evolution is TRUE, but we don't know how! Sigh. Kitty's at the door (peed on the rug again!) and Blackie wants part of my pizza. THAT's REAL life. And how happy they are when they get attention from me. ANd when they give me some attention, I'm happy. Keep up the good work. That camera is great in your hands! :-)
