Description
Captured back on 1/15/08, early AM, at the east wall of a now defunct VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars) building, not far from my habitat.
These are panes, about 1/4" in thickness, set in a block grid pattern against a sheet of plywood, which contributed to the tortuous amber flamelike patterns of the glass itself, especially at sunrise. Unfortunately, these panes no longer exist, having been removed since the building closed, with that section of the wall plastered over.
ZOOM worthy.

I love those glass bricks; I'll bet they were removed so someone else could use them. Or someone broke them for the fun of it (likely!!) At any rate, what a great shot of the flame-like glow in the glass, Harry!

A big abstract with wonderful patterns of light and 'flame'. Hard to believe the glass isn't thicker---that's the wonderful illusion of these designs. Your shot is right in the middle of it all: You plop us right into the center of the visual conflagration, and it's wonderful. You say it's early morning---it sure captures the fire of sunrise. A big symphony of oranges, yellows, orange-reds and browns. And your crop brings us right into the action. Marvelous work, Harry.
