I like the color version best - less "details" than the mono version. I checked out Peter's work from the link you supplied. I was afraid to show JO the 3 carved balls, we have a new entertainment center and plenty of empty shelves. Spectacular workmanship.

Without yet reading about this gentleman, you have captured him so well, the B&W version adds an additional aspect to the shot.. I would think of him in some costal village inn wearing heavy knitted wool jumper with a cap on playing an accordion and singing sea shanties. Great character
