Description

Captured 4/27/14, at the beautiful Renaissance Faire, held at the beautiful Santa Fe Dam Recreation Area, in semi beautiful Irwindale, California. ZOOM if at all possible. Some not so well composed pictures of various participants at the event, i.e., I inadvertently cut them off at the feet, which is a no-no in my photographic ethos. The result of anxiety having to react quickly before the POV changes. It was a lot easier doing glassware and pottery. No wonder I was exhausted at the end of the visit. Incidentally, another shot of the Steampunk gadget gal in the second shot. Cheerybye.

Another great set, I can't complain about missing toes in this, I cut the props off stationary planes :-o Great to have another look at the Steampunk gal, she is very attractive and photogenic. (any more of her? ).

I totally understand your point about the layout of some photos, which have the merit of making us participate in this huge fêtye or Renaissance Faire ... I devour every shot with relish !!! BRAVO to this huge story !!!

I thought I recognized the steampunker again...great series of crowd shots, Harry. Was everyone there super-sized, or just the ones that passed in front of your lens? Seems like an inordinate number of really ample folks...maybe it's the Ren Faire crowd, all those mugs of ale and turkey drumsticks. Looks quite warm and dusty too, which could be hard on your lens, requiring lots of gentle cleansing. You did well here!
