Description

Today, I found a few rubber "stress cows" from days long past when I worked for Gateway Computers. I also found a box of old firecrackers. Being the kind of guy I am, I decided to put two and two together - or is that moo and bang together. Anyway.... I used an old drill bit to create an opening (in a strategic location) in the cows to insert the firecrackers. To prove my insanity, I also decided to shoot a video with my EOS 6D. This is cow tipping with an attitude... You can check out the video HERE. I lifted a few frames from the video - which I find more interesting than the video itself. Frame 1 is just the fuse burning. I placed a small pile of powder in the center to light all the firecracker fuses at the same time. Frame 2 - Cow #1 explodes (left rear). It barely moved him - he didn't even fall over! Frame 3 - Cow #2 explodes (right front). What amazes me is how resilient these things are. Note the body simply expands, but doesn't rupture! Amazing considering you can see the light from inside the cow! Frame 4 - Cow #3 explodes (left front). Meh... Frame 5 - Cow #4 explodes (right rear). Thought he was going to be a dud, but after a few seconds, this happened. For those of you who - on some beery night - are tempted to try and light a fart, you might want to keep this image in mind. I really thought these cows would be blown to bits, but the rubber just absorbed all the energy, and - aside from some minor smoke stains, they're all in as good a condition as before. Now that I've totally convinced everyone that I'm completely nuts, I'll say good night, and I hope everyone is having a 'blast' this weekend! Thanks for dropping by, and for all your wonderful comments and support!

I remember having a Gateway computer. I think it was a 386/20Mhz. I mean, what could one person ever do with a processor faster than that, anyway?
