WOW! Awesome job!

I think it is very sensual piece of art work! As a photographer, if it was a photo I would not like the chin so close to the edge. I would like more space to give a more relaxed feel for the models pose.

Yes it's exact, your remark is justified. I realized it by scanning the painting, but it is always too late, has less to redo the image. Oui c'est exacte, votre remarque est justifiée. Je m'en suis rendu compte en scannant la peinture, mais c'est toujours trop tard, a moins de refaire l'image.

I like it. It captures a senses of her emotion. But I think I prefer your brighter line drawings that express so much so economically.

Well, why are you married if you are not going to listen to your wife? ;) Trust me, don't argue with your wife on this one, because she is very right. it is a wonderful work. Different from most of your other works because the background is black, but just as good!

I get a feeling that she has a dark side, but ready to express her luminance

In a pulp fiction way I think it's very successful, but if you were going for realism...then I think you failed ! LOL Always interesting, always a good result Yves ! ~Cheers~

This has a very 'black movie' feel about it. Very similar to a comic strip of the 1930s or 1940s A classic look. Frank Miller is an artist and graphic designer novels, many of which were turned into American films (300, Batman, Sin City). It could be a character in one of those novels. This is not your usual style but still very successful.

Amazing work!

You've taken a rather different approach in portraying femmes in this cool painted, almost comic book style, portrait, Yves. Your wife likes it because it romantically shows the woman leaning her head back waiting to be kissed.

It's different to your usual style, more "contrasty" and dark perhaps? I still like it though and you can't be denied your obvious talent for the understated!
