Description
More flowers from the Bloedel Conservatory in Vancouver. I'm thinking this may be a well known flower to people who know their flowers - a group of which I'm clearly not a member. But, as Shakespeare famously wrote, "A rose by any other name would smell as sweet". Or be just as beautiful. Still, if someone can enlighten me, please do...

What a great resource this community is - an interactive, human-powered, photo identifying app! After confirming via a google image search, Jeff was on the right track & Tara, Diane & Jared nailed it - it's a kaffir lily, scientific name clivia minata.
