Description
Note: this Koala was shot with my telephoto lens. He is not stuck in a small cage, but actually lives in a huge habitat at the Melbourne zoo! I took this from a viewing platform across from the tree.

I can't see these without thinking of an ex-employer of mine who had a bald spot and hair on the sides that made him look just like a koala. Not quite as cuddly, though. Fantastic shot!

The lighting is absolutely perfect in this capture. Impossible to get such Koala captures in their enclosure at the Pretoria zoo. Much darker in there and one is not allowed to use flash. God bless.
