Description

while getting ready for camping, one of the main things that has to come along is water (for coffee of course) I noticed this Best by tag on the side and all I can do is just shake my head. Who knew that water has an expiration date?

"It's probably because of the estrogen that is likely leaching in from the plastic" Estrogen?? Damn, I'd keep a really close eye on that expiration date, Mike....... Wouldn't want you to turn into a girl.... :-P I've read so many things about storing water in plastic bottles - I don't know how much is factual, and how much is internet hype/BS, but I do know it tastes different than if it's stored in glass bottles. That is a funny observation, though! :-D

Probably the expiration date for water is non-carbonated, because can nucleate and algae in there. After the expiration date, I would use it only for the toilet ... Eau de Toilet. LOL Very funny shot!

Can be that the water does not too long have to keep in touch with the plastic?

Sell by dates on water? I think it's actually the sell-by date on the container, since it's probably some kind of hybrid plastic, full of all sorts of things that'll leech into the water over time, especially if left in sunlight; or maybe the plastic degrades and you'll begin to get evaporation as well. What I really like, though, is the shape of that container. It looks so faux-ergonomic. Great light. I always find it quite aesthetically pleasing to see light passing through plastic.
