It seems lots of Red Admirals (atalanta's) are in our gardens.. They (inclusing this shot) are so beautiful.

It`s the same here .I have never seen so many for a long time .The main attraction is the Erysimum. It has never stopped flowering since I bought it last Spring ,including the winter!!

Alas not in London, this summer/autumn, I have seen literally one peacock, one painted lady, one comma, one common blue (Captured) and 5 common whites, appalling statistic to ram down the throat of developers and that useless gormless Boris Johnson, who wants to build yet another airport, what a wanker!

It's always nice to see butterflies in the garden, they like specific flowers and clearly you have plenty of those for them to enjoy and in turn we enjoy them through the lovely captures like this.

What a beauty! Just look at that streamlined face and those wings! Somebody looks quite good, and knows it! You captured this little one perfectly and I simply love the colors! Okay, there's an insect involved and so that piqued my interest, but still, this is a marvel of a photo! I love the brilliance of everything in it, especially the colors. Chicago hasn't had a huge number of butterflies, and the cicadas are a bit sparse this year too! I think it's the weather, lots of stuff got waterlogged and rotted. Oh well, at least I can see nice little critter-people here on Renderosity. I really like this!
