Description
The Male Grackle, feathers all fluffed to their maximum, turns his head (conveniently towards the camera) and sings out his very best mating call, hoping to attract the perfect female.
Taken mid April 2014. Feather detail much better in zoom.

Far far better in the zoom Tex, I think they should have the zoom image as a standard image on the page.

Marvelous color, focus and composition in this pic of the avian calling for female companionship, Maria. In fact, from his expression and body language, the grackle appears quite intent on attracting a mate, asap.
