Description
Captured way back on 5/13/06, at the Orange Empire Railway Museum in Perris, California. An 80-acre site featuring 200 steam, diesel and electric locomotives as well as passenger and freight cars, streetcars, and other railway equipment. Rail transportation in the West from the late 1870s through the 1960s is depicted.
I'm using the generic term, railroad car, in respect to this very old timer because I don't know what its specific use was....baggage, passenger, lounge, sleeper, Pullman car, etc. Way beyond my ken. In any event, deterioration galore in this series. Of course, being situated out in the arid desert helps slow its total demise.
Arrivederci.

Rust seems to be working its magic on this yellow beauty, Harry; I guess they can't keep up with all of the cars, it would be a thankless task on unused vehicles I guess. Excellent shots of this once-proud railcar! Love that bright colour!
