Description
Greetings Folks,
Misty morning at Duxford on Saturday when I got there creating pictures like this..
This Supermarine Spitfire Mk Ia waiting for the alarm bell to ring for the first time.. The first of hoe many, the pilot could only guess.. Would he live to see the next pint? Who knew...
This example, wearing black and white dazzle underside, is the oldest airworthy in the world..
More Legends inbound, including a request I had not forgotten them.. Also more from this show, Bruce Dickinson (of Iron Maiden - yes seriously!), and the Vulcan..
Enjoy
Rob

She's a beauty and along with the Hurricane has a hallowed place in British history. Good title , too. Saturday and Sunday were the anniversary dates for "The Star Spangled Banner."
