My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

You got me. I tried looking up evergreen trees of southern Oregon but there are dozens of different varieties. Looks good and I bet it smelled even better.

Very cool capture I've no idea either

Very pretty POV and photo. Seed pods look sorta similar to the cedar trees in my front yard.

Nice. I like the unusual feeling of depth you achieved in this. I can almost feel as if I could reach out and touch them.

I posted some like this a few years back; they were growing in my neighborhood. Somewhere back in my gallery here. You thought they were Atlas Cedar, and I agree, that's likely what they are.

I wanted to link you, but for some reason it won't let me. Figures. It's on page 69 of my gallery.

Very lovely greens and textures, Tara! This is a lovely photo! Honestly, when I saw "Cones" the first thing that came to my mind was Dan Akroyd and those cone-heads on the old SNL catching the furry rings on their heads.... I know, I know....... I need help! :-P
