Description
Leaving for a short trip to Lulworth Cove.
It was very hazy and this is a crop of the centre of a photo from the cliff top taken on full zoom and of course handheld as always.
I am pleased with this Tizzy, although it will not compete with the big-boys' toys on this sort of shot.
She is the last working paddle steamer in the UK, and I was going to go on this trip, (£33), but opted for an afternoon on the beach instead. Cheaper and probably as much fun in all that haze.

I thought 'The Waverley' sounded like an elegant old hotel but this is better. What a marvelous old ship and nostalgic image. I imagine some poor soul going over the railing and the tragedy being investigated by Miss Marple or Hercule Poirot. Excellent distance work.

It certainly has plenty of charm and passengers! An excellent shot regardless of the challenges. No " domestic " camera lens can cut through haze, yet!
