My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

A wonderful composition which successfully 'de-cars' the image.

Watch out - you can put an eye out with those things! I definitely remember those pointy fins on cars when I was a kid - styles have definitely changed radically since then. I like all the smooth shining metal in this image & especially the reflection of the car in the background...

That's a 1931 whatever-it-is, I remember them well hehe! Nice work Tara!

Well done. Great POV. I always enjoy when you push in tight to your subject and give us these little glimpses.

The clarity and reflections you caught here are amazing. A beauty!

Ah, memories. It was 1957 and the Russians had just launched Sputnik. It was the dawn of the space age and the new Cadillacs had fins. For a few years they got bigger until they looked like bat's wings. This is a 1958 I believe and a superb capture of it's most famous feature. Love the color.

Lovely shapes and metallic colours, what a great abstract this makes! Very beautiful shine on those fenders!

Superb capture Tara. God bless.

What a fascinating abstract this makes! Who knew automotive museum pieces could double as abstract fine art? Only through your eyes, Tara! :-D
