My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

Another great one.... lots of interest here... I have been there once. Back in 1993.

impressive the streets are full of people but they are still empty of life and love - each person is walking towards their destination without thought - just making the motions tis a sad city street indeed

Everyone looks so serious, eyes straight ahead. Except for THAT guy who is probably eyeing the young lady in the sunglasses. I'm guessing she's out of his league. Another superb slice of life.

Fantastic candid. The Quarter is the best place for these, I am certain; so much going on, so many different kinds of people...it's been a while, I think I need to visit again!

Great candid capture!!!

This is a zoomer! It also makes me think of Karlovy Most...over my beloved Vltava...that crazy river in that crazy city full of crazy (lovable) people who use words like "nubile" in casual conversation...(yeah...Pavl found an excuse to use the word "nubile") in an email he sent me. Anyway...enough of that. Yeah. I like this shot. The people interest is amazing and I really like the sharp contrasts, not only in terms of light and dark, but in the expressions and postures of the participants. This is like the static shot of one of those exciting dances they used to show on that program: Alive from Off Center, on PBS in the late 1980s. The drama of the faces is what makes me think of that as well as the different poses. This is really great and I love this whole people in black and white series thing you're doing. Feel free to do more! Please!

You did find a gemstone of a place to find photo's, and I'm so amazed nobody is going crazy because you're taking their picture.

Every one of them in his/her own bubble..... What I find amazing is that there's only one person with a 'smart' phone, and he isn't even looking at it! LOL Great frozen moment, Tara! These are fun.. The guy on the right kinda reminds me of a young (and well-trimmed) Cheech.... or was it Chong...?
