Sitting by the fire eating and listen to stories told by night?..Feeling the Freedom..? No taxes, helping - and admired by the same people in the lands? It sounds great, being a hero...? The girls smile to you and feeling the envy from the boys..well, well. So you feel ready?..You think you have the skills for it? Do you know what kind of skills needed? Riding a horse and use a sword or bow? No, let me tell you about rangers life. All year outdoors in all kinds of weather, being wet for days, freeze throughout the winter..at times awake for days, fighting ferocious beasts and dangerous enemies..pains in every bone after long days on a horseback..Behind every tree or corner a possible threat, knowing most rangers here seldom reach old ages..But you set your own destiny and taking your own risks.. Your fate is not written, all happens by chance..but you can do the difference..we have to trust you and you need to trust us..all the time. Forget about bravery and courage - just do what is needed..and remember, he who doesn't fear, doesn't last long.. We are careful and effective, many wrongdoers never saw us come..remember we are the law in these untamed lands, and we do what we can to earn the respect of common people living here..
