Description
Captured 5/26/11, at a marina on beautiful Queensway Bay, adjacent to the beautiful Aquarium of the Pacific in beautiful Long Beach, California.
The Karin Lynn, a harbor tour and whale watching vessel, introduced by the Harbor Breeze Cruise line in 2003, double deck, length 65 feet, 149 passengers. Gah wan, that lil ol thang carries 149 passengers? I know, it's hard to believe, but that's what the specs say.
And I believe that's the posh Parker's Lighthouse Restaurant sitting way out there, over at the extreme left of the top photo.

Nice work on these very cool captures, Harry. I've always wanted a boat myself.

I am often impressed by the height of hull above the waterline with superstructures tourist boats !!!

149? I guess if they're standing toe to toe or packed in like sardines below decks...this is a nice-looking vessel, Harry, I like this style of boat. Running a tour boat would be a cool profession, another thing I'd love to do in another lifetime! Of course that would mean dealing with Joe Q. Public, which can be challenging at the best of times...on second thought, I guess I'll keep my day job ;p Excellent captures of Miss Karin Lynn!

Beautiful day to be out on a boat enjoying the southern California weather. I like the reflection patterns on the side of the boats.
