Description

One of two divers that tend the beautiful Blue Cavern, with its vast array of beautiful fish, captured 5/26/11, in the lobby of the beautiful Aquarium of the Pacific, in beautiful Long Beach, California. Lots of postwork involved here, because aquariums are not photography friendly, except maybe to a hired professional, who can work unhindered under ideal conditions. Anyway, I haven't shown much from this series since mid 2011. I believe I visited the Aquarium at least three times that year, when I was more ambulatory. In any case, I have more shots of the divers, along with fish, lurking in my copious files. Ciao.

Superb capture of this underwater worker, Harry; what a job that would be! I would love to be around all the fish (except the sharks, the can have those) but I don't know if I'd be happy in a tight suit and helmet. Best leave it to someone else, eh? Well done here, I know it's hard to get shots through that glass!
